Moonshot introduced Kimi K2.5 on January 27, 2026 with native multimodal capabilities and learned orchestration of parallel subagents. The model was available through Kimi’s site, app, API and coding tool. Agent Swarm was a research preview/beta with tier and usage restrictions, not unrestricted access for every user.
