Proposed public benefits

For data centers, he favors community decisions and public negotiation over local benefits and costs. He proposes enforceable terms covering utility bills, company-funded infrastructure, jobs, training and environmental protections. Reid Hoffman 

More broadly, he proposes bargaining with labs over infrastructure approval in exchange for public benefits, including free medical, legal and tutoring assistants and support for workers changing jobs. These are proposals for negotiated commitments, not existing entitlements or guaranteed outcomes. Reid Hoffman
